I think hearing her mum's words might have some impact on her. She could have passed off what Jasmine said as just the bitter words of someone who hates her, but her mum told her the same thing in a different way. She needs to keep away from Lee. It's a pity that this has all come too late.

Yes, he was squirming physically the night Jim told Casey that Lee wasn't that interested in her. The fact that Lee didn't deny it kinda spoke for itself. If I remember correctly, they both chose Jim in the next round of nominations.

I'm the same; I think seeing Casey's reaction to what her mum and Jasmine said and her subsequent tears (which were very, very real) has made her realise, too late, that Lee is not good for her and both of those interactions completely burst the bubble and forced her to confront what she always knew deep down. Lee (this sounds mad) I think is too nice to be honest with her, he doesn't like hurting people with honesty so he'd rather drive them away (bitching about her after Jasmine had left) or just not deal with it at all and keep it going (cuddling Casey despite his claims he doesn't want anything with her)
