Parm could have meant when Coleen was 16yrs old, as Coleen is the youngest of the bunch and joined that group when she was around that age. Linda was born in Feb, 1959 according to Wiki, so you are right, she would be 55yrs old next month, I thought she was older than that though.

I'm referring to "the incident" that has annoyed linda for over 40 years.

Think how many stand up comedians take the p*** out of the audience at some point.

Probably the majority of them.

No doubt that's what Jim did one night in the 70s - make some joke about the Nolan's - the same way Jimmy Carr or Lee Mack might joke about Justin Bieber if he was in the audience.

And judging by her unforgiving and humourless performance on BB - no doubt Linda has clung onto that moment ever since.

Most people just let these things go when they come from stand up comedians. I'm sure Frankie Boyle has said much worse and people have laughed it off or moved on.

God Bless the stand up comedian.

Everyone needs the p*** taken out of them sometimes to prick their bubbles of self importance. Even the Nolans!

What does this have to do with the series?

Linda said something about Jim upsetting her in a nightclub before they went into the house. Surely that wasn't 40 years ago?

Im baffled too to be honest :conf:,but anything to bash Linda with and give Jim a pat on the head for being a wife beating thug is ok

She mentioned something about Jim upsetting her teenage sister so it must have been something like 40 years ago

I just checked, she was born in 1965

So if she was 16 at the time of whatever incident Linda referred to then that must have happened in 1981 - so not the 70s but only a couple of years out

And any excuse for you to mention, yet again, that Jim once hit his ex wife...

It's a relevant topic while Linda only got evicted days ago and the series is still on !

Unlike Jim's past which people obsess over and happened decades ago

Jasmine isn't in there any more, people are discussing her is that sad too?

Seriously it's a BB forum and if people are discussing BB or housemates then there's no problem.

I'm not 18 either Chuff (unfortunately) but I can only recall his ex wife talking about one particular incident, may have happened more than once but it was a long time ago & she never even pressed any charges...

Colleen was on BBBOTS and asked what was Linda's problem with Jim .Colleen explained he had made a sexist remark when he was drunk at a club Linda was working in and she had him removed.
COLLEEN STATED 'I WASN'T THERE AT THE TIM '

As to the Nolans hoding grudges and being spiteful about people who may or may not have advertently or inadvertently upset them at some point, it is safe to probably say the incidents all likely come from at least 3 decades ago or longer.
Never have I come across a more spiteful and unforgiving set of people ever.

How they managed to even get by in showbusiness for any length of time is beyond me,they all seem a right miserable lot to me.
