obsession?
Oh I didn't mean you were obsessed, sorry I didn't make that clear, I mean loads of people recently seem to have gotten into the whole Ru Paul's Drag Race stuff that I know IRL and I just don't really get it, like heaps of people I know went to go meet that trio (Willam and idk the other two's names) and I dunno if I just don't really appreciate drag or if it's not for me or what the problem is but I just think it's a bit dull.

Idk, it's a lot of work for them and a lot of it is basically revolving around slagging off celebrities, acting like a slut and singing diva songs.
I like DWV because of their parodies - Blurred Bynes, Boy is a Bottom and Chow Down are all hilarious  but there're quite a few "serious" drag queens from the show who don't really go anywhere unless they're stunningly good-looking already. I think you'd enjoy the show if you watched it though, it's very "typical American reality TV" with its tropes and format, but the casts usually make for a lot of feuds, spats and drama.

probably one of my favourite scenes
(obviously it's total car-crash TV but I like to binge on it)
Nah my friend made me watch loads of clips and I still didn't find it entertaining, in general I find American reality TV programs really contrived and very obviously put on whereas I think British ones have a certain quirky charm to them and there's a lot of cheeky humour involved.

Yeah there's more emphasis on the editing, really, and it's a bit weird because they all kinda have to band together anyway since the drag community is so inclusive and fiercely supportive of each other. Real, genuine hatred on the show is pretty rare. *not sure why I want more of that LOL*
"legendary ..looks like leg and dairy" :laugh2:

Yeah. I dunno, like just watched that clip and a couple of the insults made me smile but generally I just don't really appreciate drag and I guess that's the main problem, I don't really 'get' it.
