Big Brother Eye

Hi, as I am new to the forum I am not too sure if I have put this in the right section of the forum.
I was wondering if anyone knew why C5 dropped Daniel Eatock as the designer of the Big Brother Eye? The eyes that have been produced over the past four years by c5 have been awful.

They understandably wanted to re-establish the show with a new identity. Changing the eye underlined the fact that it had moved to a new channel.

I think the Eatock designs look incredibly dated now. I like the C5 version.

Personally I find the Eatock eye a little over-rated. I prefer the BB14 eye over many of Eatock designs.

The Eatock designs were a masterpiece. The C5 logos look like something that could be made by a 10 year old on photoshop.

I think I could grow to like the C5 version if they experimented a little more with the design... so far all they've done is stick loads of doors, TV screens or damask patterns in it. A proper theme would be nice (and the Secrets/Lies doors was a step in the right direction).

They need to stop the plastic style. If they had a brain, they would be using a flat style right now which is the most popular style right now, With logos becoming more minimalistic, etc.

I know I'm in a minority but Daniel Eatock was majorly over rated, he did have a few good designs but the rest were nothing special.

That last one he designed that was never used still looks like someone put a blob of paint on a piece of paper then sat on it....

The Eatock eyes were a lot better artwise and more interesing i think the C5 eyes are just simple and not as interesting but stong brandmarks that they can use more for branding.
Thats C5 all over cheap and simple.
