Dappy may not have been the winner of Celebrity Big Brother but he could still be smiling all the way to bank as sales of his music have rocketed on the back of his appearance on the show.

The N-Dubz frontman emerged from the reality TV house on Wednesday night as runner-up – having lost out to 1980s comedian Jim Davidson in the final public vote – but has seen his solo single and album re-enter the charts in the last 48 hours.

According to iTunes, the rapper's debut solo effort No Regrets is back in the top 20 single downloads while his album Bad Intentions has returned to the Top 100.

Both were originally released in 2011, with the single reaching number one and the album number six in the UK charts.

Another pleasant surprise for Dappy when he emerged on Wednesday was to see his cousin and bandmate Tulisa among the crowd at the Big Brother compound

I like hearing stuff like this, proves it can be worthwhile for some of the celeb's career's and maybe encourage more celebs to take part in the future.

Yeah, and he is the one laughing at all those stupid girls who voted for a guy with such sexist, double-standard views. He has no repect for any of you. Such girls are their own worst enemy.
