Rita Ora announces new single, teams up with Calvin Harris

'I Will Never Let You Down' serves as the singer's brand new track and features Calvin Harris.

"I can't wait. I've been working on my new album for about a year," She told Nick Grimshaw on BBC Radio 1. "The song I'm going to release features an incredible talent in Calvin Harris. It's called 'I Will Never Let You Down'.

"I actually think it's one of the coolest songs I've ever heard, in my mind."

Asked what it was like working with her boyfriend Harris on the song, she insisted: "Honestly, it was so natural. I wouldn't have done it if it didn't make any sense. I was never really against [working with] people I'm involved with [and] doing something personally.

"We were sitting at home, he started humming and then I started humming and then we hummed together!"

Discussing her forthcoming second album, Ora revealed she has collaborated with Macklemore & Ryan Lewis, adding: "We've got some really exciting stuff with Macklemore... there's a lot of surprises on this record."

The star's debut LP Ora topped the charts in August 2012 and spawned the hit sings 'RIP', 'How We Do (Party)', 'Shine Ya Light' and 'Radioactive'.

She just seems like an enormous waste of space to me. I like Radioactive but I hate all the other singles she's peddled so far, just seems a bit try hard and comes across like the kind of girl that would sleep with someone to get ahead (and then came all those rumours about her doing exactly that) and now it's like oh she's dating Calvin Harris? Yawn. I wonder what second rate generic EDM track he'll give her to launch her next album; and sure enough, that's what's happened. Haven't heard the track yet obviously but I'm sure it'll sound like it should be a Rihanna B-side.

Ridiculous that I think that or ridiculous that someone would do that? Agree if it's the former, I'm just being overly judgmental; but if it's the latter - plenty of people use sex to get ahead in life and in a business as sleazy and shady as the music business, it's especially rife.

She just always struck me as someone who would do that to get ahead; the way she comes across in interviews, her personality etc... and then entirely separately from that, then all these allegations came directly from Rob Kardashian that the two of them had been dating and she'd cheated on him with loads of other people. Just strikes me as a social climber who would do anything to get ahead and I really don't like that quality in people; ambition is great but not when it involves ****ing people (over) to get there.

1% of people "make it" in the music business, but not all the best ideas originate within the camps of that 1%. It's a very common practice to steal ideas from lesser known artists and give them to a mainstream artist in order to sell it to the public. Beyoncé is renowned for it. You know this.
