the British "summer" seems to be more in May/June now so it's probably even less, really

that's what i'm looking forward to; maybe it's just because it feels so much warmer after a crappy spring

There's only about six weeks or so to the Spring equinox, the clocks will go forward, the daffs will come out... just weeks away.
