would genuinely appreciate all of those except vouchers... vouchers are just as unimaginative as money, but without the freedom to shop where you want :/ (but even then i'd still be grateful and appreciative LOL)
generally react best to clothing and video games, though

If I got to choose between vouchers and money, I would pick money, but giving money as a gift is a bit awkward compared to vouchers.

money is my favourite. I also like smellies/perfumes, event tickets, cd's and vouchers if it's for a good shop. I don't really like people buying me clothes usually because nobody knows my own taste.

It used to be booze off grownups  but I love handmade things off kids, now I like money from mum as I collect glass so go pick a nice piece as I'm really fussy.
And photos, I like nice photos of kids in frames of my friends/fam with brats.

oh yes, I'd add socks to my list actually .
also sweets/biscuits make quite a nice addition to a gift and it's generally something that you can't go wrong with.

My favourite gifts are the ones that are a surprise.
Not for occasions. When hubby brings me flowers..I know he was thinking of me when he was out.
He bought me some tiny glass bottles once from a flea market, probably cost less than a quid for the three, but the meaning behind it was priceless.

Everything except clothes and footwear, and money. Since I've been an adult I don't think I've ever worn anything someone else has bought me. And money is just so impersonal. It's like, here, have some money, I couldn't be arsed to think of anything nice for you.
