I love the show but this season has just been terrible, they ruined it by trying to set it across one weekend and taking it out of New York so it's pretty much all just been stupid little mini stories and filler episodes which aren't funny at all and contribute nothing to the actual story

Indeed Matt, i'm on the US pace and the only good episode this season was the one where it shows the mother's story...it's been awful since season 5..shame really as the earlier stuff is some of my favourite shows ever

Yeah that one was good, brought together her and Ted's story really well. I quite liked the one before then as well just because of Marshall hitting Lily with some home truths but now they've made up over that already. I didn't really want to find out what Barney's actual job was either, never been a fan of the idea of his hippy past

I'm invested enough now to still be watching every week but I'm just looking forward to it ending really now

but I think when they come back from the break we are on now it might get better as I just want Ted and the mom to meet who i love ^_^

ahh! I watched it at 1AM in the morning live and I cried for hours, it's happy and sad, trying not to ruin it for you! But it's such a goodbye! and that extra hour of deleted scenes is going to make it so much better :love:

I have to admit I do too :{ they had the finale planned from the second season though :/ I still liked the ending, it was true to life, really sad, but true to life. I love himym no matter what though haha... just that moment where Ted says that she was ill broke my actual heart! and Robin distancing herself from the group pissed me off so much! AND WE DIDNT EVEN KNOW THE NAME OF LILY AND MARSHALLS NEW KID. but I think it might be in the dvd extras </3

Aww, at first I thought it was a bit of a rushed, rubbish ending, but there is about an hour of deleted scenes though! LIke theres one where Robin and Ted meet up after they bump into eachother on the street, no idea why they didn't make the finale longer :(
