if your sink got blocked would you try to unblock it or ring a plumber,

if your car would not start would you get your bike out and ride to work or call a taxi

if your dinner got burned would you prepare something else or ring for a take away.

I'm mostly practical, I'd try and resolve most things myself, have a go. However, if I ruined a meal, I wouldn't start another I have to say. It'd be delivered.

Don't be silly, I have a husband,failing that we have a good plumber.

I never drive these days, hubby services the car, besides I don't ride a bike or work.

I never burn food, takes me all my time to cook the beggar.

I'm very practical,I don't have to be now my OH does most things like that, but when I lived in a bedsit I was very hands on even down to using tights as a belt for a washer,it worked aswell,lol,I can decorate,change plugs etc,quite self sufficient.

I think I would do all the practical solutions to the examples you gave but generally I'm not a practical person at all, in a lot of situations I completely fail to spot the easy solution to things that go wrong.

if your sink got blocked would you try to unblock it or ring a plumber - I would roll the sleeves up, get the plunger out and get stuck in, if I had no luck I would ring my partner, brother or partners dad.

if your car would not start would you get your bike out and ride to work or call a taxi. - I work from home so this doesn't really apply but if I needed to go anywhere I would walk or phone my partner.
