wtf is a suspect package? are we talking about a bomb? or some type of biological weapon like a disease? like anthrax? or what?

I feel like i should be shocked by this, but i don't understand it enough to be shocked...

so it could have been posted by anyone. the fact that they are crude would imply it's not the IRA. the IRA knows how to set off bombs when they want to. Proper bombs.
