I've noticed that some women have moles, but they also wear makeup, when you put on makeup, do you purposefully not put makeup on the moles? or do you put makeup on the mole? if you have a mole and don't try to cover it up, do you just try to paint around it?
also women with freckles, do you try to cover up your freckles? do you think it's weird to cover up such a prominent facial feature like a mole or freckles? and how do you deal with boyfriends, like do you tell them at some point that you have a lot of freckles under there... or do you just not mention it and let them notice it for themselves?
I find the whole idea of makeup fascinating, because makeup really can completely change how someone looks, and i think it's interesting that women are using more make up than ever before.
do you look in the mirror and think the person in make up is the real you, or the person without makeup is the real you?
Do you feel like the make up is creating a false impression and it makes you look totally different? or do you feel like the make up is just enhancing how you already look?

Don't have any moles... have a few freckles when I've been in the sun, but I quite like them. Makeup wise, I don't wear an awful lot and it's mostly natural colours... except I do like red lipstick. I fell like it's the real me, whether I've got makeup on or not.

I have freckles, but I don't mind them, and I don't wear a lot of makeup, just light mousse foundation or tinted moisturiser (or don't bother at all) and only wear other stuff like lippy and mascara if I'm going out. So pretty much what you see is what you get.

I don't try and cover my freckles...I don't even notice them anyway. With my complexion it's obvious that I would have freckles though I think

I think women think they use less make-up than they actually do.

I have a few freckles over my nose when I have been in the sun, I don't intentionally try to hide them

Yes when they resemble a wotsit.

Only when they have put it on with a shotgun

Only when they have put it on with a shotgun
but they probably don't know that it's so obvious, right?
my best friend almost never wears makeup, but when she does it's hard for me to look at her, cause i think it looks ridiculous.

celebrity women in media, they all look like they had it done with a shotgun right?
I mean women these days in the media,. they all have drag queen makeup, right? it's so thick. and it's so obvious with the facial contouring, it really is drag queen makeup.

so you ladies don't cover your face in foundation?
I wear a mineral powder, it's very light and not 'cakey'. It mostly just stops me getting shiny.

I only wear make up when I'm going out and the odd time when I feel crap. When I do wear it, it's not alot, I hate that orange look
..I have a few freckles in the summer, especially on my nose but I don't really try to cover them up..I probably wouldn't be able to anyway...

so basically, from what i'm hearing from the women of TiBB, is that the makeup jobs we see in the media, that's just stars and celebrities. Most real women don't wear anywhere near that kind of makeup.
I really thought that women wore a lot more makeup than you guys say you do. you always hear straight guys talking about how different a girl looks in the morning, and i thought makeup had a lot to do with it.
Very interesting, I really wanted to know.

I cant be arsed with foundation and such, party because its such a faff on to put on and I dont really need it, and partly because if you get it even slightly wrong it looks absolutely awful.
I can chuck eyeliner on to make me look more alive and it only takes like a minute.
Apparently I dont look much different with no makeup on, but people are probably just saying that
Vicky.

Mind its not only celebs that trowel it on. My sister does..takes her about half an hour just to put makeup on on a morning.

i can see your sister definitely darkens her eyebrows, other than that, i don't see much difference.
