If you view a thread, why don't you post in it?
What makes you post in a thread?

Mostly just because I really have nothing to add to what's already been said

Yeah this. Also sometimes I just don't have the time or energy to get involved

Sometimes I just like reading what other people's opinions are and I'm too lazy to respond with one of my own.

Some threads are just not that interesting once you open them, or are just full of spammy rubbish

A fair bit of the time I read threads but don't post, usually becasue someone has already said all that I would likely have said, or what I would have said has been said and debated by a fair few others on the thread.
Normally,I would select the comment I most agree with and say I do.
Then there are times when I feel the need to add more to what has been said and would then post on those threads at that time.
Basically what others have said, sometimes it's not worth posting in, not interesting enough etc.
And to be honest sometimes I click on a thread say in c&g where people are having 'a laugh' and I read through the comments and see all these laughing, joker smileys posted and don't even as much as slightly smile and then think to myself are people really finding this to be rofl lmao type humour

Sometimes I have nothing to add to the discussion. Sometimes someone's already covered what I was going to say. Sometimes I'm too busy face-palming to write anything.

I think you having a laugh is like your birthday, you have one once a year.

It comes down to how I feel, if I feel chatty I tend to post, regardless of whether I've something to add or not

There is absolutely no excuse for not posting. Especially as these days, most threads only require you to make a 50:50 choice or give one word answers.

I actually laugh a lot on here, mostly at you :idc:

I know it is Cherie, I was answering the OP as to why I don't post in some threads.
