One day I'd like to travel far enough north to see them. You can allegedly see them here in Aberdeen but I've never been successful looking, think being in the actual city itself kinda prevents you from seeing anything, too many street lights and buildings blocking the view.

You can see them in the North of England if you are lucky.

Amazing... definitely on my list of things to see. I've been looking at taking one of those cruises up to Norway to see them. Being stuck on a ship with humans isn't that attractive an idea though. Must be incredible to witness it.

Yes I would love to have a cruise up the Fjords - what you do is drink champagne for breakfast, cocktails for lunch, sleep the afternoon and watch the NL in the evening. This way you avoid people which is the aim.

Yes, a "hazelnut in every bite" might be ok for the fo'c'sle but not so for a curry supper at the stern
