Do you look away or do you enjoy it?

I hate it if I'm watching a film with my family and they go to a sex scene, it makes me cringe a bit. I don't see anything wrong with it 'per se' so it's not like I'm disgusted or horrified or owt it just makes me a bit uncomfortable as if I've accidentally come across a couple having sex.

I am with you on this Kyle.
I can remember when we were kids, if someone as much as kissed someone else on the telly, my dad would say "right kids, bed time" ..I wouldn't care but I was about 15/16:joker:
Same applies other way on, parents get embarrassed watching it with the kids in the room.

Haha that's funny.

You know I've never thought about it from the parents perspective. That must be a little uncomfortable aswell

Its uncomfortable to say the least. Sex, last time I looked, is something people do in private (save dogging) and so watching it with your family is never a good look.

It totally ruins some films for me, it's just put in for no reason half the time has no part in the plot or anything and as said if watching with others can be really cringy.

Agree with Kizzy trumpet.

I like films that insinuate they are about to have sex, then fade to black. I don't need/nor want to see two actors rubbing against each other and pulling cum faces to get the picture of what's going on.

Depends on the film really, sometimes it's fitting sometimes it's just thrown in to have a sex scene, also depends who I'm watching the film with

All the I love you's and that but I'm just an immature little bastard.

I liked the way Harrison Ford did it in a film where he was about to be killed or something and the woman says "I love you" and he just says "I know" I thought it was brilliant, you could tell he did feel for her but he had like a hard time expressing it.

It's cringey and embarrassing, watched Bridesmaids on Sunday night and the film opens with quite an explicit sex scene, my 16 year old son was in the room, it's icky. I went and made a drink to avoid it but could still hear her panting and gasping. Mortified.

It doesn't really bother me now but I remember watching Dirty Dancing when I was younger with my mum and dad and when they got to the scene with Jonny and Baby in the cabin and he takes her top off - I tried to be all cool and grown up and said something like - wow that's a really pretty bra - when inside I was dying but I just brought my dads attention to it more as he wasn't even really bloody watching.

Eh it doesn't really bother me if my parents are in the room watching it too, nobody makes eye contact though :joker: I don't think anyone wants to think about anyone else in the family having sex or see them watching a sex scene!! It's definitely worse if you're watching something alone and somebody walks in during a sex scene because you're inevitably like "IT'S NOT PORN IT'S A TV PROGRAM" and scrambling to show them in case they think you're a pervert

This is the reason they should make individual booths as lounge furniture.

Porn is a whole different kettle of fish mate. Yeh behind close doors, turn the iPad on, slap on redtube and away you go but I'm talking about watching a film with other people. It's so awkward.

Like Titanic. Interesting story, huge sets, historical accuracy, then all of a sudden you got The two main characters doing the monkey business inside an old banger. Get rid of it, don't need to see steamy hands. My sister is watching ffs.

Keep the tits bit though.

No, the sex scenes have to fit with the story. Otherwise it's just boring for me.

Don't think any of them have the acting skills to pull off a convincing sex scene. Knowing the over-dramatic story lines they would probably put a death scene in somewhere mid coitus.
