I always hated duck/duck/goose, the anticipation was torture. I was always terrified, sitting there, as the person went around, what if i get picked goose, will i be fast enough? will i trip and embarrass myself? How compedetive should i be? will i look like a loser if i take it too seriously? will i look like a jerk if i don't try my best? These are the things that swamped my brain as a 6 year old.

Not exactly a game, but does anyone remember the scooby strings that went through a phase in the early noughties? The ones where you tied four strings together and then made scooby keyrings by knotting the string in different patterns.

Someone posted a thread about these not long ago (think it was Salman)

Really! Even our parents were into them for a while at some point - IT was actually quite embarrassing not to have one tied to your school bag  Think I was in year 2/3 at the time so I would have been about 7, which would have made it 2002!

One more day in school,
one more day in sorrow,
one more day in this old dump
and we'll be home tomorrow,
God made the bees,
Bees made the honey,
we do all the dirty work
we'll teachers get the money,
Teachers think they're holy,
they go to mass on Sunday,
they pray to God to give them strength
to kill us all on Monday
Jack.

We all heard nursery (http://thepalacenursery.ae/) rhymes as children (I assume), so what do you remember being your favorite OT?
Mine would be Ring a Ring o' Roses/Ring Around the Rosie. I used to chant it all the time, even after I found out it was about the plague. Sometimes I can't help myself and I'll start singing it again.
Since there's often different versions, here's the one I grew up with:
Ring around the rosey,
A pocketful of posies.
ashes, ashes.
We all fall down.
When our mother calls us,
We all jump up!
