Half marathon

Today my brother and sister inlaw ran a 13 mile half marathon.

this was the first time they had run in a race,

my sister inlaw had been in training but my brother, due to work had only run once before and a distance of 6 miles!

to them, I just want to say well done, raised a great amount for charity and had their four kids watch them finish the race!

Good stuff, my Dad has done quite a few of them and is always trying to persuade me to get back into running and do one but he will never succeed, though I do feel a bit of a lazy bastard when he is in his late 50s and still doing it while I sit at the pub near the finish line and wait for him
