Last time I did an little overview of bb6 10 days in and now I am 60 days in. I am watching one a day now as I dont want it to be over :(
I am loving the series, s-h-i-t-s all over c5s attempts, it is a real social experiment not a geordie shore copy, c5 needs to put in a wider mix of people not ethnicities specifically or anything like that although that wont go a miss but a wider range of personality, I dont think we've really been challenged with enigmatic characters really on c5 such as makosi and kemal we need more of those.
Something I have noticed is that you dont see big brother getting invloved/talking a lot or tasks that seem to be aiming to manufacture an argument which is what c5 seems to do.
Makosi: One of my fav hms ever probably, enigmatic/entertaining. The first few weeks were like the Makosi show but as the weeks have gone on she has still remained entertaining. She said when you guys get out you will see why I was in the diary room so much, she was playing a very complex game, the whole pool incident- was that planned? I really dont know what to think but I loved when she stuck up for Science when Derek for badmouthing him unfairly, she always sticks to her values.
Derek: dont really like him much, at times hes ok but i can see what he is playing at so easily its annoying. The Kemal/derek relationship is quite creepy lol. He was a massive hyprocite constantly ganging up on science yet saying bullies shouldnt be in the house in reference to saskia, saying science doesnt listen to anybody when he himself doesnt only if it meets his interests.
Saskia: Saskia should not have been evicted before the halfway point as the show got a bit boring after she left for a while much like when Hazel got evicted last year, I liked her throughout I dont think she was as bad as people made out. Her explosions were most entertaining. I didnt think she was a bully but it came across like that when she was ganging up on Vanessa with Maxwell before Vanessa called her a prosistute, they were clearing picking on someone that hadnt done anything to them that they thought was an easy target.
Maxwell: Couldnt stand the ladish, arrogant and selfabsorbed behaviour, thinking he ran the house etc. Not much thoughts on him, I dont like the way he would have an argument be aggresive and moment later be completely calm, thats really unsettling.
Craig: I went from feeling really sorry for Craig to disliking him intensly, he plays the victim so much its unbelievable and is such a hypocrite- wasnt his vt all about how he likes to make people feel bad about themselves and exploit their weakness? I remember when he made a negetive comment about Science and then got all offended that he replied with a negetive comment about him. I felt he would talk to people he slagged off when it suited him i.e when they wanted to comfort him or he wanted to gush his heart out about Anthony. Still an entertaining hm none the less.
Anthony: I think he is gay/bi just didnt fancy Craig or straight and Craig couldnt understand that just because someone is gay doesnt mean they are going to fancy him. Wasnt a deserving winner.
Science: Hes not my favorite and I dont particularly enjoy watching him, not in a negetive way but I just dont click with him in a viewing way. He did outcast himself a little thanks to all of the arguments but at least he was staying true to this values. I do think Derek treated him badly and accusing him of being homophobic when Derek himself would probably be considered a racist to blacks if he wasn't black. I respect he was uncomfrotable about Kemal because he wasnt brought up around people like that, doesnt mean he is a bad person. The whole Orla vs Science eviction is a mystery to me although I think it was a good thing that a woman survived eviction over a quite negitively perceived male where as it is normally the other way round.
Kemal: very interesting to start then died down till Oral came, dont think he was using his sexuality for sympathy. Good housemate, funny nominations.
Mary: I loved the witch, gotta love an underdog. Shouldnt have been evicted so early yet I could have said that about anyone else.
Leslie: Wanted to see more of her but I could easily see how she would have gotten on my nerves had she stayed longer. She obvs had a lot of self confidence issues which seemed to be dismissed although this didnt excuse what I saw as bullying toward Sam. I read that she developed a drinking problem and got raped after the show, I really hope she is ok and happy in herself today.
Sam: She should have been evicted first, I did like her but her good bits were in little snippets not consistently.
Roberto: I actually liked Roberto, still havent figured him out but I was really entertained by his antics. Did Mary and him get together after the show lol. I didnt like what he said to Kemal at first but then he didnt nominate Kemal that week which I respected a lot, he realised that what he said was rude/ignorant.
Eugene: high hopes at first but below my estimations, really annoyed at Maxwell constanly hushing/dismissing him even if it wasnt meant in a rude way.
Orla: Over reacts way too much, I loved that she beat Science in the eviction just to prove that the voting public isnt so on the males side all the time, at times it can seem no matter what a guy does if he is up against a girl she always gets evicted.
Kinga: amazing, what can I say. I do believe she had a few thing rehersed prior to coming in that she was going to do on the first night i.e pop out her boobs, sing b a n a n a and i have a very big house in country. Eugene should have been booted out in place of her :(
Vanessa: reminds me of Rachel Rice in being so different to her VT but once she came out of her shell I found her quite entertaining actually and when she got evited the days after were a bit bland. She had to go against Makosi sadly. I'm suprised production took such a risk also when they put everyone up for eviction was this a rigged thing?
Defo my fav bb ever so far, I'll have to decide for sure once its all over as things are always better when you are watching it fresh.
the only civilian bbs I have watched fully are bb12 and bb14 so those are the only ones I can make a full comparison on.
