ID cards cost £10 though and that's only if you lose it. You get it for free at the start of the year and when you return it at the end of the course they actually give you £10

Write back and ask them for a breakdown of this cost because it makes no sense, and this is the first time you've heard about it. You can string this out to the end of the semester...

I've had about 4 threatening letters from uni because I hadn't paid any tuition fees due to issues with my application. I was in regular contact with the finance officer who understood the situation yet I kept getting letters threatening to throw me off the course and I'd face legal action. :laugh: Some places are just crap with their communication.
