Bit of a 'meh' announcement for me though, I have nothing against her I just think she didn't really offer much as a judge. The best possible panel this year would have been Simon, Sharon, Nicole and Louis - the four best judges there's ever been on X Factor UK.

I couldn't agree more, the show needs to be put to rest cause it's just dull now. Bringing Cheryl back is a clever move by simon imo but it also shows that it's the only leg the show has left to stand on. It's also not going to change the tired, dried out format. It consists of the same sob stories and dull repetitive editing techniques every year and i'm ready for something new to occupy our screens.

Dannii is a good judge but a terrible mentor at actually giving all her acts good song choices.

Tbh you're probably right, it's just sad to see that this show after 10 years still favors Karaoke acts over interesting acts that will have a chance at selling Music even if it was just in the UK.
