So I guess it'll be HoH and Noms in episode 1 and the Veto and eviction in episode 2. Would rather they held back the eviction till episode 5 - in the early years they did that a couple of times and split the Veto over two episodes to cover the extra episode.


Guess it's too much to ask for a new house layout and a switch to HD this year. They haven't delivered that over the last 5 years so they probably won't now, even though it's the only show on US TV still broadcast in 4:3 - and indeed probably one of the only ones in the developed world at least. Of all the BB clips from various countries I've seen over the last few years I think they're all pretty much in widescreen now.

They put off All Stars a few years with the Duos and Coaches season - if they hadn't done that they'd have probably done another full on All Stars by now.

All newbies, no Elissa style relatives and a twist to the core of the game. It's been over a decade since they made a real fundamental change to the gameplay (something that then stuck around for subsequent seasons) - they were on the right track last year with MVP but completely ruined it by putting Elissa in there and letting Brenchel fans vote.

If they ever have Andy back i would seriously struggle to watch the season. With all of his Twatter arrogance and general heinousness i've actually grown to dislike him more than any of the other horrid houseguests they had last year! He's should be held up as a prime example to show American children what they should not grow up to be like.

I held in there and watched the whole season in a hope that someone decent would somehow win and salvage a scrap of decency from such an awful season but i just couldn't bring myself to watch the final because it was pretty obvious what was gonna' happen and i just couldn't bear to witness such a travesty!

I really hope this year's BB makes up for it. If last year's show didn't make them pick this year's housemates more wisely then there's no hope for the show going forward!

I really don't think they'll ever ask Andy back and if they're dumb enough to then i can't see it being this soon.

There was a rumour at the start of the year that they were gonna do an All Stars version of US vs UK vs CAN vs AUS, with the US format and hints of BBUK in there (so basically BBCAN) but I doubt they'll do that now since they've had so much casting. Gina Rio was one of the rumoured names (think Deana was the other) and it made sense since Gina had been going on about getting a tv show in America, but don't think anything's happening and think it was just a rumour.

We might see evictions move midway through the series this year, CBS picked up rights to the first 7 games of Thursday Nght Football on NFL Network (Supposed to be a simulcast) and I think BB will be winding down,

I'm expecting a schedule of a Sunday, Tuesday, Wednesday if they do have to move it.

I'm looking at the schedule and it says that the first eviction is set for July 3rd a thursday but the launch is set for Wednesday, June 26th meaning a 5 ep cycle.

Maybe (And I stress it) BB thought up an actually clever twist. Or we're getting a late entry.

In the early years they have had five episodes before the eviction - all they did was split the Veto over two episodes, so it would be:

- Launch/HoH - Wed
- Noms - Thu
- Veto Comp - Sun
- Veto Ceremony - Wed
- Eviction - Thu

Alternatively another thing they used to do was drop the Sunday episode for the first week, only introducing it after the first eviction.

Rest assured they always use a different logo for promos - some better than others, but this one is absolutely ****. It'll be the same old logo (in the same old house in the same old 4:3 SD) for the season itself.

Why is BBUS obsessed with returning houseguests? Seriously, of the 5 seasons I've seen (BB11 onwards), 3 of them have included the "returning player" thing.

That doesn't mean I won't like them, I loved Daniele in BB13 (and of course had never seen her original season), for example, it's just the principle of milking the idea, and giving less new people the chance to experience Big Brother.

I'm still hopeful but the cast bios and stuff don't make me optimistic for the season. No one has seen BB before season 10, which means they're going off BB11-15 which are the worst of the worst seasons. The only interesting ones at the moment are Zach.
