Intro

Welcome to TiBBMONOPOLY, the fast paced property game! Up to 13 players are able to play at one sitting, with one of these players opting to be the banker. A huge selection of TiBB favourite characters are available, from Nadia to Deana. Using an auto-mated online dice, each player takes a turn at attempting to buy or sell property, with the banker keeping record of who has spent what. As the game goes on, players will be able to buy houses and even the deadly hotels for their property, with other players paying rent when they land on these properties. Be careful though, if you run out of money, you're out! The victor is the person who has money left at the game. Diary Room & Tree Of Temptation cards will either make or break you, with some rewarding you with money from the Diary Room whilst others forcing you to tuck some of your money away into the Tree Of Temptation's drawer. So why don't you join in for a round of TiBBMONOPOLY?!

Game Pieces

Players will be given the option to select their favourite big brother housemates in their applications and these will be used as their game pieces to go around the board, Here's an example of how they will look. We feel this will bring a competitive vibe to the game knowing certain players will be looking to take down other housemates they dislike.

Game Cards

A key part of the game will see players aiming to grab the new Diary Room & Tree Of Temptation cards that have replaced the classic Chance and Community Chests. These will hold great fortunes and luck to some, whilst others may hit a setback having to dish out their money to other players.

- Advance To The Arcade, if you pass go do not collect £200.
- You have lost a game of snake in the arcade and therefore lost a bet you made with Lord ShuGrr, pay the bank £50
- Your favourite housemate did not survive eviction, pay your £20 phone bill
- You've found the mole in the garden, the mole is holding a get out of jail free card which is now yours.
- You have been arrested for breaking into Emma's dressing room, pay bail of £500
- you see Brian Dowling begging for money in the street, pay him £25
- advance to the nearest train station, if you pass go collect £200
- go straight to the musicbox, if you pass go do not collect £200 instead pay £80 to get it back up and running again
- You jumped in the pool and ruined a mic, pay £100
- Trying to jump the fence was a bad idea, pay £200
- You get blinded by Rylans teeth, collect £200 compensation

An award for the player that comes out victorious will be handed out.

Entry B

We would like to introduce you to our new forum game… FaceOff.

The format of FaceOff is something that we believe brings a new element to the forum gameshow – merging intelligence and tactics in an elimination style game where no-one, not even the best performers, are safe from the FaceOff.

The Format
12 contestants will be split into 2 teams of 6: The Red Team and The Blue Team. The two teams will work together over a 24 hour period, attempting to answer a set of 50 questions correctly. The questions will be sorted into different categories – a different category each week. The categories will include:

- Music
- Sport
- TV
- Films
- Geography
- TiBB
- Celebrities
- Gaming

The questions will be formatted so that it’s difficult to simply google the answers, mainly using pictures and videos as questions (as usually done on The Pub Quiz and The Mole).
An example of some of the questions:
1. Hserniatecfognoraa
The words above unscramble to spell the name of a famous historical figure’s wife – but whose wife was she?

2. Which TiBB member won the first series of the photography competition?

In which city are the headquarters of this company?

And so on…

Eliminations
At the end of the round, when both teams have sent their entries in, the two teams will then nominate a player from each team that they think has been the weakest performer in the team. The results of the round will then be announced and whichever team answered the least questions correctly, will lose their nominated person.

This carries on until there are 2 people left on each team.

Should there be an imbalance in teams, the team member last nominated by the other team will join the opposing team.

For Example: Should the Red team lose a round and go down to 4 members, the Green team, who have 6 members, would then lose the last person that they nominated to the Red team.


The Finals
Once there are 2 people left in each team, the teams will then be playing for spots in the final. The final two on each team have to work together to get into the final round – the losing team will lose both members, and the 2 from the winning team will go on to the final round. The winner of the final round will be crowned the champion and will win the title of FaceOff champion… and the award:

How is it different to other TiBB games?
FaceOff is different because it involved eliminations and quizzes – 2 gaming elements that are rarely merged on TiBB. There is also a strong element of tactical gameplay that can be introduced – players may wish to nominate the stronger members of their team, in order to eliminate competition. Nominate the stronger players and then win the round, however, may result in you losing that member to the opposing team is there is an imbalance. We think it offers a fresh take on forum quizzing, with a strong element of competition. It requires all around knowledge, due to the variation in topics, as well as good gameplay.

One's better in that it's more personal to TiBB and Big Brother, so would sit well on a Big Brother forum.

The other's better in that the logistics of it are far more suited to a forum environment.

I really love them both.... I've watched you all beavering away throughout the day (most of you :p) and while Tibb Monopoly makes me laugh a lot and has great personal touches :love: if I were to choose to apply for and play one it'd be Face Off as I love quizzes and it seems fun. Both games are great and I'm chuffed with the amount of effort from you, massive pats on the back guys and gals x

I think TiBB Monopoly's been presented better but Face Off is a nice idea and is more suited to the forum... but I voted Monopoly as it seems to me like more work has gone into it and the team has really thought about it!

I know I am not a judge but I will give my personal opinion of both games because I feel I can.

Firstly I like the concept of TiBB Monopoly, but I question the actual viability of running this game. Firstly my issue lies with the fact this is exactly like Monopoly online just slightly altered for TiBB, which is all good and well but from running games I feel that this game would not work on a forum because it would require all players to be online; and knowing Monopoly in real life it takes ages, and knowing TiBB I doubt that many players would be online for that amount of time, especially considering you aim to have 13 players, I feel that is VERY ambitious for a FAST paced game. TiBB is not that fast paced.

That said I think it is an interesting concept that given some serious tweeking good be quite a good laugh on TiBB, although I think the longevity of it would be short lived and it would be a very forgotten game.

At first glance I would write this off as watered down Pub Quiz and then reading on it made me a little more intrigued. I actually liked the idea of this and think this could work really well on TiBB or any forum. It's a bit like the weakest link (something that hasn't to my knowledge been tried on TiBB) and I like the fact you merged eliminations with quizzes, two things that this forum seems to love.

I actually think this game could work on TiBB and it's a shame people voted the wrong game in my opinion as I think you should have won this vote, but as it is the forum is rubbish at voting (hence why I scrapped the forum vote for Elimination).
