They are literally scum. No morals and will just print whatever they can to make some £££
Scarlett.

They've been known to put actual dead people on the covers before, so its not surprising

i'm a bit confused about their relationship. were they actually a monogamous couple for the last 13 years? i don't think so.

Tabloid and pap culture genuinely sickens me, it's ****ing revolting the way they are allowed to act and people just lap it up
I really hope one day a bunch of celebrities just get together and decide to follow a pap back to their house and take pictures of them eating, with their children, of them taking the bins out, of them having a sh*t, of them finding out bad news...and see how they like it

...but, without that pap culture, Mick jagger wouldn't have the amazing lifestyle that he has. He chooses that culture for financial benefit. There are plenty of other amazing bands from the 60's and 70's that didn't court the paparazzi the way mick jagger did his whole life.

That would be well worth buying a paper to see all that Jack, good one.

pretty sure the paparazzi weren't much of a big deal in the 60s and 70s, Alex.

Where is the Sun's front page I assume that will carry a similar picture unless of course one of the young royals has been photographed doing the quenelle ..!!!

actually they were. Mick purposefully went to clubs (studio 54) and dated famous women(jerri hall) to get his face in the papers. If he didn't want to be in the papers, it's not hard to avoid paparazzi.

It does carry that pic right down the bottom right there

So, which papers were actually ~classy~ enough, to sell the story in a less repulsive way?

The toilet paper after I've shat is more classy than the British tabloids.
It infuriates me to my very core how they're allowed to get away with it - I never buy papers, for this exact reason.

they wouldn't bother if it didn't sell. the papers don't care which story sells, they only sell what people will buy. so you can't blame the papers, you can only blame the public for buying it. if the public didn't buy it, they wouldn't sell it.
If the public only wanted to buy newspapers that reported on who has the prettiest flowers in their garden, then that's what you'd see on the front page of every paper, but the public doesn't want to see that, do they?

Got to agree, twitter is no different IMO people following celebs so they can be on hand for every nuance in their lives, is that so different to paps and you could argue at least the paps make a living out of it.

Its not the pap they should follow its the picture editor at the newspapers who pay for the images.
and if you want to take it to its final destination they should follow every reader who buys the paper to look at the celeb pictures and all the people who read DM.co.uk

People read DM.co.uk in the same way they read tabloids. gossip, celebs in bikinis, prejudice etc - the paps get paid by both in the same way and for the same pics

it's not just the DM. The guardian, telegraph, metro, etc. all have the same celeb stories. so it crosses all political boundaries, everyone wants the juicy gossip.
and let's not forget that most sports stories aren't just about the games. 1/2 of all sports stories are the same type of celeb gossip about the players, and who is not getting along with who, and who is sleeping with who, so the sports pages are just as salacious.
The Sports pages, which are supposedly so manly and macho, are just as full of bitchy gossip as the celeb gossip sections of the newspaper.

fgs  I was being sarcastic. Somepeople online, on Twitter/FB are just as bad as the paps for wanting salacious gossip, but as I pointed out earlier at least the Paps are getting paid for it.

I blame men and their pathetic need to see boobs. The documentary clip below illustrates this perfectly.
