this is why Roseanne was great. This scene made me sad and scared when i first saw it as a kid. This is the most real a family ever was on a sitcom. imho.

Oh speaking of Roseanne, I only realized a couple of weeks back that Leonard from the Big Bang theory was David from Roseanne, i used to fancy him when I was a teenager watching Roseanne

Yeah, occasionally, she's not one of the main cast though

i always liked them together, although i never really saw any sexual chemistry, but both came from pretty messed up households on roseanne, so it was cute seeing them comfort each other.

I used to watch Rosanne and think "why do American phones have such long leads"?

No and people in american shows would walk around with the whole phone and it looked cool. UK phones stayed in one fixed place on a table.

yeas, they both had that fluffy curly hair parted down the middle. that was pretty typical in the 90's though...

before conditioner was invented

i can't even remember the number of times my dad would yell out "who's got the phone!" and of course i'd have it in my room. wireless was the bane of my dad's existence.

"when you use the phone put it back on the hook after you're done!" ugh

I loved roseanne! it was one of my fave shows in the 90s. It showed family disputes arise, are discussed and be resolved in a way that they never do here.... ever.
