Hate them all, but there is one that I detest above them all. Putting the bins out. Its ten times worse now that they only collect black bags once a fortnight, and its going to be ten times worse again in the next few weeks when they start only collecting 3 at a time.
Hey Council, if you want to force people to recycle then provide them with enough bags!!!!

Not fussy on any housework, which is quite weird as I honestly used to love if all.
I ironed yesterday, first time in months, only do it when I run out of bedding:blush:

..yeah, the bins is the one for me as well, Verbal...does your council provide recycling bags, then..?...we even have to pay a fee for a brown bin to take garden rubbish away...
Cleaning the oven, quite enjoy all the rest.

They do provide bags but it seems to be very random, they post a pack through the door once every few months (if you're lucky) that if I recycled everything would be gone in a month. How people with large families cope is beyond me. Can't even buy them, or at least I can't find them to buy. They do give out free ones if you go to their centre and ask, god knows where that is though.
Thought everyone just stuffed all their recycling in a different colour bin these days not in actual bags, doing the bins is the only household chore I do/don't mind doing, all the others are a nightmare
I don't mind doing stuff like mowing the lawn though

...we just have a recycle bin and can't put anything in a bag because the plastic bags themselves aren't recyclable...your council obviously have special bags which is a good idea but not if they're given out randomly and occasionally though, that seems to be contrary to what most people need...virtually all of my rubbish goes in the recycle bin...

They collect green bags one week then black and pink bags the next here. Its such a pain. Plastics and glass (I think) are supposed to go in the pink bags, things like cans and tins in the green. I haven't had green bags for weeks though so it all goes in the black bags. They are only allowing people to put out 3 black bags at a time from (I think) next week. Which is just ridiculous.

I don't do dishes I have a dishwasher.
my oven is self cleaning so I don't do that.
the bins I have a little box what my recycling goes in then when its full I tip it into the right bin, putting the bins out.. all u do is wheel it to the end of your path lol
washing clothes is done by washing machine but mind I hate putting them away.
making the bed is easy fitted sheets and a duvet.
cleaning the loo on the other hand well ive just bleached my whole bathroom coz it was getting on my nerves and ive took out all the toiletries which half of I never use but they may have been opened, anyone know wot I can do with opened toiletries. that I wont ever use?

have to admit that's a pain, why don't they make a duvet cover that has either buttons or a zip all the way round not just the bottom part?

I feel I should qualify my earlier 'rant' by saying that putting the bins out, for me, involves a walk across an entire row of houses to a mass collection spot that about 40 people throw their bin bags onto to be collected. Since the move to once a fortnight collection this can involve 2-3 trips and 4-6 (if not more) bags. I would not complain if I just had to put them into a big green box on my doorstep. :joker:

I don't mind hoovering. Despise doing the kitchen chores but I have a dishwasher so it's not too bad. The bathroom is tedious to clean.

I like housework in general, there is something really satisfying seeing a messy room change to a tidy one.I like doing other peoples too, lol,I have a dishwasher so don't really have to wash up,also washing and drying is easy, mmmm, probably the worst is cleaning the bathroom.

favorite: vacuuming. It's satisfying seeing all the crap filling up the tube.
worst: the bathroom. everything is at weird angles so you have to contort your body into uncomfortable positions and get on your knees and scrub really hard and the chemicals stink. it just sucks.

..no, enjoying ironing doesn't make you weird, Niall.... you just being generally weird is the thing... (I'm joking, you're anything but weird..)...

..oh, I love that too Alex, it's a bit like being a ghostbuster..it's incredible how much is in there though, even though I vacuum every day..:amazed:...
