I've always had a bit of trouble saying the name 'Niamh'.

I've heard people say 'Naomi' and I've heard others say it is 'Neev'...

Could someone clear this up for me?...

She fell in love with Fionn’s son Oisin (read the legend of Niamh and Oisin) and lived with him in Tir-na-nOg (“Land of the Young”) (read the legend) where 300 years passed in what seemed like three weeks.

So this Niamh lived to be 300 too?

I have trouble with Eoin - I know how it's pronounced but I have a childhood friend whose name is spelled that way but it's pronounced like Iain, which is wrong, but that's his name.

^This. I have the same problem, cos in Scotland, Eoin seems to be Ian, but after about a year of knowing Iceman I realised his was pronounced Owen... Yet I still think of him as Ian.. :/

The old Irish translation of "Owen" is actually Eoghan (just to confuse matters even more)
