Of course you can have a clue, Jill.
This was said by more than one person but one of them was not happy about saying it.

"And then there were four". Of course the one person who wasn't happy about this was Helen - Paul had just left.
BHLCS - I can still see her little face crumpling into tears!!!

Such a sad moment and it wasn't just Helen who was in tears when Paul left, either.:blush::blush:
Next anagram please, SusieQ. :wavey:

Ok - it's not in a nice, neat phrase I'm afraid but (with muchos gracias to Matt) here's:
"years on fit rail penchy ".
From BB2.

So do I please. I have been trying for ages to figure it out. I even went as far as writing all the letters on a big card and seeing what words I could come up with. Found lots, but no phrase came to mind.

I think I've got it.
Is it Mr Paul Clarke saying "I fancy her personality" when he was talking about Helen?
I think you're right kaphc.
We should all have definitely got that one

Over to you for the next one.

Ok, I am trying not to repeat anything that has gone before now, so I have picked a quote from BB3.
"Wheelo roomu scoute"
Good luck everyone.

23-02-2003, 08:13 PM
I don't know who said it. Was it ?
" Welcome to our house " ?????????
Romantic Old Bird
24-02-2003, 06:10 PM
I am sure you are right jbellemeg! AND, although I am trying to forget la travestie which was BB3, I seem to remember it was the song the housemates wrote to welcome the ghastly Tim Culley to their midst when he replaced the equally loathesome Sandy. (You know, the prat that made kilt-wearing seriously uncool for all but Darius)
kaphc
24-02-2003, 07:14 PM
Yes, jbellemeg, you've got it!
As ROB says, it was from the song that they made up to welcome Tim (Comprendez) into the house
Your turn now.....

24-02-2003, 10:18 PM
Ok guy's here we go. This one is a little more difficult so I will give you a clue up front.
This was said by Paul to Helen the night they spent so long in the bedroom talking. The night when Helen asked Paul if he fancied her.

I have to apologise to you all. I have just re run my tape and found out he didn't say what I thought he said.
I thought he said "look at my feet the're nasty ". He of course said "The're nasty , the're embarassing ".
I can only apologise again.
Do you want me to do another or will one of you do one?
Mairi
27-02-2003, 05:38 PM
I spent another 10 minutes of my lunch hour on this today, Jill and I'm proud to say I had the "feet" bit but still couldn't work out the rest.
As you have probably gathered, I am really bad at anagrams!! I'm quite happy for you to do another one, just don't make it TOO hard.

Ok here's another clue (I'm going away on Friday so I need to have this answered before then or else you'll have to wait 10 days to find out if I was right!)
Thye were the first two people to be evicted from BB2....
I'll have a go, kaphc . . . . . although my solution contains a 'c' which isn't in your anagram!
Is it something that Stuart said to Penny:
'Defend it or take it back' :conf:
kaphc
10-04-2003, 05:15 PM
Yes that's correct, although you are right, I did leave the "c" out - sorry!
