21. Buses Only Running Every Hour… Then Just Not Turning Up

The timetable is merely a fiction-based schedule for buses in the North East. It’s basically there for decorative purposes.
While they decide what time they’re going to roll up, we’re stood there in Antarctic conditions. Naturally, without a jacket… because we’re North Easterners, of course. The rage can be a bonding experience for bus travellers though, inciting fiery, public transport-hating small talk you’d never find waiting for the Tube.

I used to have my northern accent slagged off by a woman on the phone at work. Even six months into the job, calling her once a week she'd still take the piss. :bored:
