Not always, sometimes the title is enough to just enter and reply.

I try to read every post of a thread (unless there's been 5+ pages of the chat threads) before I post so I don't duplicate what someone else has said.

Most of the time; sometimes the title is self explanatory or it's a poll thread or something. What I don't tend to do is re-read the OP, so like if it's a game thread or something and the OP's constantly being updated I don't generally tend to look back at it because it's not something I would think to do myself. I've been criticised for not updating my own OPs sometimes whenever I've been running anything.
