If you are on the bus, train or walking down the street and you get a bit peckish, would you whip out a cookie or a sandwich and have a munch without a care? What is your go to thing to nibble on the go?

(Restaurants and inside your own car don't count)

I do when I'm starving. I'll sit eating at the bus stop/train station.

But in general, not really, I'm a bit self conscious about that.

One time I was really hungry, and didn't have time to go get something proper to eat, so I went into the little shop at the bus stop and bought a big bag of cheetos and ate them on the bus.

ngl, they did not smell good.. and the bus was busy.. and I was getting some pretty evil looks from some of the people sitting near me, but I was hungry, so yeah..

No, I would eat something like a mars bar but I would rather head off to a cafe for something if I was going to be a while getting home.

Reminds me of this awful time I was walking on the walls during a break from Jury Service a couple of years ago and I was looking over where the Canal is and I had one of those pasta pots you get from Tescos in my hand, I turned around suddenly and dropped the pasta below literally landed in some old Women's hood and splattered everywhere, it was like a 1 in a thousand chance of it landing in that spot, so yeah I tend not to eat in public anymore on case i upset anymore oaps.. all I heard down below was a yelp and " Derick! What the ell was that " I left the crime scene before good old derick could make his way up and unleash his wrath

Still feel a bit guilty to this day

I've never shared this before but

a few years ago on the bus these two women in front of me left their chips on the seat and I was starving SO badly and I ate the rest when they got off, like it was upright so I thought it wouldn't be dirty

I regret so much in hindsight, esp as these were two really chavvy girls and I remember one of them talking about pulling an Italian guy the night before. it must have been ridden with diseases eww

no. i always think god they must be either greedy or starving if i see people eating meals down the street or on a bus.

late at night if i'm of my head i,ll do it s not many people around. or if i'm feeling ill and need something but i dont eat it like a pig like most people.

cant stand people who eat on a bus .if you have to nibble no need to be a piggy lol

yea there is a way to eat in public places that is not obtrusive to others. if you pull out a full takeaway and act like the public space if your own personal dinning room, then you are nasty. You should not be consuming a meal on public transport.

If you grab a few chips out of the bag and munch a little bit before you get home, okay that is okay, but if you pull out the whole tray and start dipping your fish and chips in various sauces, then no, you need to stop, yu nasty.

Hell yeah i do, i'm really not fussed. I would rather be sat down and comfortable though. I eat in public spaces but not really on the go. I would eat in a park or on a bus but not just walking down the street. If i ever need to eat and im walking down the street i stop at a bench or a bus stop or something
