I'm with you ROB had no idea it had been missing from the screen. Any idea who the new presenters are?

SNAP!, ROB - it's on far too early in the morning for me so I never even realised it had been off the air!

I know that they covered BB3 last year, but sadly I never saw any of it.

Thanks for the info, Paul - afraid I'm more of a 'night owl' though!

Awww! I loved Ri:se just the way it was - although I seem to be the only one! Mark Durden-Smith makes me chuckle, and Edith and Kirsty are great. I hope they haven't changed it toooo much! It just wouldn't be the same without Hel's Bells!

Great news .... thank god I don't have to suffer GMTV any more, I need something to wake me up in the morning, not send me back to sleep! (although I do like Eammon and Fiona .... )

If I watched breakfast TV, I would watch RI:SE because it was fun and didn't take life too seriously!

I really liked all the presenters so it's a shame it's changing!

Hopefully it'll still be fun!

Here's some information on the new-look RI:SE that I found on Ananova:

Mel Giedroyc and Sue Perkins are to complete the new line-up for Channel 4 breakfast show RI:SE.

The duo will front their own half-hour section of the show between 8.30am and 9am, when it relaunches on Monday.

Their slot is expected to be in a similar style to their old Channel 4 midday show Light Lunch, in which guests joined the pair and brought along a packed lunch.

Iain Lee and Edith Bowman will host RI:SE between 7am and 8.30am, with more of a focus on celebrity guests.

And Mel and Sue's segment of the programme will have a studio audience, which RI:SE did not have in its unsuccessful first outing between April and December last year, reports Media Guardian.

Unfortunately, I probably STILL won't be up in time to watch it!

I too becam a fan of the lighted and irreverant (?) Mark on Ri:se.
I wasn't keen on the Irish woman or the sports girls though. I was actually sad that MArk got the heave-ho (or so I read):bawling::bawling::bawling:

Well ..... I watched this morning and wasn't too impressed I have to say! Those horrible mirror-tiled doors and the stilted and oh-so-not-funny "comedy" items! :bawling: At least they still had Mindy Barbano (sp?) who's always a good laugh. I agree tho Blinkinlovely, Liz Bonin was a bit too big for her boots!

No Mark ....... :conf:

Gutted!!!

I hope it improves ... or I might have to go back to the radio!

I dont think RI:SE will ever beat the Big Breakfast as far as morning tv goes but its still a good watch when trying to wake yourself up.:spin2:

I was never any good with remembering names.
Could you tell me if Mark is Judith Chalmers son?
If so, I liked him too.:colour::colour::colour:

Yes jbellemeg, Mark is Judith Chalmers son, and I liked him as well. I really wish they had kept him on instead of Edith Bowman who annoys me intensely.

I watched some of this for the first time this morning, and I wasn't particularly impressed. I hope it gets better.

Thank's LEE.
Mark was great on rise and it always amazes me why the powers that be always get rid of the good presenters.
