These women get all the Luck
[At the bottom of a plastic bag lies a very small piece of highly flammable fabric in a colour never
dreamed of by Mother Nature. This is budget clothing chain Peacocks’ latest offering: a £1.99 dress.
Yes, that’s right, £1.99. Forty-one pence less than a cappuccino from my nearest coffee shop.
I’ve bought it online to see just how cheap and cheerful fashion has become.]

What a snotty write up from the mail, all clothing containing nylon is flammable and the colour is nice, it's an ok dress to be fair ... It's £1.99 fgs.

Yea I agree Kizzy it really does come across as very snotty...
My one previous visit to a Peacocks store was not a success. I went into their Dorchester branch on a wash-out English holiday to buy a pair of Wellington boots for my son, only to find them all covered with pirates, robots or Angry Birds.
Better wet feet than those monstrosities, I thought
Yes may as well let your kid get wet feet and catch a cold than him be 'out of fashion' and embarrass you eh.

it's a £2 dress ffs...
people complain things are too expensive all the time and now people are saying they wouldn't dare wear a £2 dress... you can never win!
I'd wear it. I'd rather have 50 nice dresses for £100, than spend £100 and buy two things from topshop/river island ETC

I know silly moo, loss leaders attract customers, if you're having to compete with the likes of primark in the throwaway fashion stakes for pretty young things what else can you do?...
If the wellies are serviceable then what's her problem? Saw loads of name snobs in the lakes haha! my fleece and raincoat cost £14 from primark and I was as warm and dry as anyone.

No he held a Red One
..yeah but it was still the same dress in a different colour though..I'm kind of conflicted about this and things being so cheap/exploitation...
