OMG...how did you find out?

Your bank will reimburse you but is such a pain in the neck.....

I got a letter in the post saying they were concerned about my banking activity and I thought it was just because I'd gotten a new card and was still using the old one :(

Yeah, they're gonna refund the money, but still it's horrible knowing someone is quite happy to spend someone else's hard earned money

My dad had his details hacked once, it's never a good thing. It could be worse though, the bank could have not payed you back!

They usually call you straight away, you had to wait for a letter?

Everytime I make more than one online order in a day I get a call ensuring I approved the charges.

Yeah, I have an online banking app so I checked that an it looks like all the transactions were done on the same day, they must have maxed out the card or whatever, cause the last 3 transactions on there were by me, but I'm gonna keep an eye on it in future

Bloody scumbags, I'm glad you're not out of pocket, cos they don't care whether you are or not to do it in the first place, maybe your card got 'cloned' - I dread this sort of thing tbh.

..aww Smithy....it's a horrible feeling, that happened to my OH a few years ago, it was around £800 and it was also a gambling site but the credit card company did phone him straight away...
