Maybe there could be a BB round instead of a video games round but it could be questions that would be about things that happened in the house or what the house looked like in a particular series or something like that... things that aren't so easily Google-able... would probably be too much effort for you though. I just think with things like a Video Games round there are literally only maybe three or four members who have much knowledge about that at all and it kinda ruins the flow of the quiz for me personally but that's probably because I don't have any knowledge of video games...

Personally I enjoy putting up a round or two where a large portion of the forum are going to struggle, or are outside of their comfort zone. It just makes the competition a bit more fun for me, and allows for a greater diversity of players. I'm sure there're plenty of members who don't know a thing about music videos or films, either :laugh:

Plus I really don't want to have to rewatch hundreds of episodes of BB highlights for obscure trivia.

I feel like with, say, the films round - you might not know the film but you might recognise the scenery as looking a bit like something from a Tarantino film or being really certain that the screencap is of Mira Sorvino or something obscure like that, so even if you're not familiar with the actual screenshot, you have some kind of hunch about what it might be and you try and figure it out... with video games, it's so specific that I find it a bit off putting to be honest, like I know next to nothing about video games so unless something is very obviously from a Mario game I'm just not going to have a clue and I think most people are the same.

Or to use a better example, I'm also pretty naff at the Sports round but you can usually figure out what kind of ball park you're in by looking at the sportsperson and being able to narrow down what they're likely to be famous for playing - a runner or a swimmer isn't going to be in a sponsored football kit for example...

Round One: Music Videos
Rules & Explanation
- Below, 50 images are contained in individual spoilers. They are image stills from YouTube uploads of music videos, either from their official 'VEVO' accounts or older, more dubious origins...
- To receive a point, you must identify both the names of the main artist AND the song title.
- The featured artists aren't essential, but you must identify the main artist. For example, if I used Nelly's "Dilemma" and you submitted "Kelly Rowland - Dilemma", you would only get half a point.
- As the above rule suggests, half points are available for the correct song title or artist, so it's worth filling in your blanks with educated guesses.
- As part of a new trial of stuff to liven this whole format up, additionally, if ONE team manages to get an answer completely correct that no one else does, they will receive double that point. This doesn't apply to half-point guess answers :p
- You have just under 48 hours to come up with your fifty answers. At the end - 7pm on Wednesday - I'll check your team rooms for your final list.
- When I say I'll check your final list, I mean just the final list. If you come up with an answer whilst working together, but fail to put it in the list, then you're very silly and won't get the point :p

OK, I hate to announce this and bring shame upon the forum, but I feel obliged.

Earlier this evening, in her team room, GypsyGoth not only posted in all-capital letters, but she... she swore. She actually said "OH ****ING HELL".

I feel as though this quiz and its challenges and trials have turned even the purest and kindest of souls into frustrated, unhappy tyrants and therefore have little alternative but to cancel the entire thing and all future editions. I feel personally responsible for Claudia spilling a hot drink on herself, and ruining her keyboard.

It is in TiBB's best interests that this stop now before someone else gets hurt. this is a joke but seriously claudia swore and freaked out and burned herself
