I just rescued a big old spider in me bath and put him out the window. Smaller ones I just put in a corner.
What do you do when faced with a 2 inch spider in your bath?

Wow...he's huge. Usually we have to gve him a name, make him run round the bath a bit then I have to return him to "the wild" so he can go play with his friends!!

kill it
spiders do not deserve life
..pop him in a glass and let him roam free in the outdoors...

I have no qualms about killing any spider that would intrude on something so sacred as my bath time

..harsh Marsh...
I like to adjust the shower head so it's a thin powerful stream and aim for its individual legs first.
Then I swirl its body down the plug.

..torture and then drowning....I guess you're giving them more of a dramatic Hollywood style ending rather than just being stood on...
Beautiful, elegant creatures spiders are. Would never intentionally kill one.
Mind you I would be loathe to kill anything, even wasps.

I agreed with everything you said.....right up to the word wasp...now if there was ever an insect that this world would be better off without...it's the wasp :fist:

I would have been right there with you but I asked that very question one day and was told they are extremely capable at insect reduction.
As a vegetable gardening connoisseur myself I found myself gaining a begrudged respect for the little b*****.
Kind of like your uncle that pisses you off by pointing out all your flaws but you find out he donates to oxfam every week.

That's huge. I'd of probably cried.
The night before last I had a dream that there was a giant spider on my bed, crawling up my duvet and into my face and I couldn't move. Then I dreamt waking up and realising it was a dream and telling people only to find out it was true and we had loads of them in the house.
Then I woke up, cold sweat and everything.
EURGH.
I hate them.

I pick them up and throw them out if they're in the way, otherwise I just leave them alone and they leave me alone. They eat flies... that works for me.

Id break out in a cold sweat and think hell wot am I going to do? Then id leave the bathroom shut the door tightly and wait till my partner got in to move the spider.
Evolution's greatest success story. Love spiders. Great lads.
