They're announcing their Quality-Of-Life thingy this year, which could well be a 3DS replacement for all we know, so expect something about their next console next E3 methinks.

I don't know if it'll be anything dramatic outside of perhaps a new iteration of the 2DS. I definitely think we'll hear about a new Nintendo console before the year's out though, Wii U is haemorrhaging and Nintendo's left it too late to save it. The best thing they can do is drop the Wii name and bring out something completely new.

Nintendo can put out good titles, but they cant put out a consistent stream of good titles without third party publishers, Nintendo need to have a big rethink for their next console.
