I never have time to watch morning tv, I usually listen to Radio 1. I like Susanna Reid though. I always used to watch Daybreak instead of BBC news though. Good luck to them!

It's just pointless.

They keep changing the name, the logo, repainting the set, taking a couple of presenters from the BBC and then it fails and they do it all over again.

They need to change the format; that's where the problem is. No one cares what it's called or the logo.

I'm guessing they got the name from Good Morning America?

Jack.
26-04-2014, 06:42 PM
I'm liking the look of the set

I've just watched a bit now, it looks pretty good ;o It's a lot like the american morning shows, I like it. BBC Breakfast is boring compared to this.

Good morning Britain - 1st show 28.04.14

a clear and precise introduction
studio neat and clean
by 615am i rate it as a excellent production
crisp and sharp is every scene.
not one miss-hap or pain
even Richard via satellite
great delivery from Ukraine
sports was short which proved a delight.
then a weather for-cast
hottest day of the year is euphoria
from the memory bank a blast
hello again lovely Laura.
time to win some money
onto the street it will be handy
in the "broom cupboard" he was honey
landed on his feet is delightful Andy.
London News proved a equal rally
all done with a sense of calm
looking delicious was Sally
not ringing any bells or any alarm.
830am was the pain
Good Morning Britain had to end
followed by a new studio for Lauraine
my only fault is no forum to news blend.

loveeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee the new show. brill -

I really liked the bit about Ben Shepherd playing football and them all fake laughing about his tackle on Zidane

Ideal stuff for just after 8 am

Presenter Susanna Reid drew just over half of the audience of her old BBC colleagues when she launched ITV’s new breakfast show, Good Morning Britain, according to overnight figures.

The programme, which began broadcasting yesterday, had an average audience of 800,000 viewers while Reid’s old show, BBC Breakfast, pulled in 1.5million.

The launch of GMB was also markedly down on the first-morning figure for its predecessor, Daybreak, which pulled in one million viewers when it began in 2010.

Trying to emulate that plastic/fake camaraderie from Good Morning America is not working.

It's all so OTT and cheesy and it doesn't work over here IMO.

In a way it does
as it makes the BBC look out dated.

Give it a chance

The Bloke who set up that Good Morning America on NBC
is a British top man
he made that show over take the Today show.

no, it makes gmb look like another tired wannabe effort.

same USA guy, same USA Claudia reporter, same doctor, same fascination with celebs, same richard guy, same competitions patronizing the audience, same faux mawkish concern for "real people" they put on their sofa who have a tale of misery to unload, same poor weather presentation..

this is not america and we prefer a more sober presentation of news

A lot of people some to dislike her but I like Susanna Reid! Tbh I'd never watch ITV news over BBC at 10pm but I'd watch ITV in the morning because if I watched Breakfast at 6 I'd fall asleep  That's not to say I don't want news in the morning and I'm glad ITV have improved the news part from Daybreak.

Susanna wastes loads of time on her slow delivery of a question.
