View Full Version : My Redesign of the TiBB Homepage
So I was bored and I decided to make this, it's what I think the homepage of tibb should look like:
http://i.imgur.com/9baFrOg.png
It's still a work in progress but yeah. There is no back ground as of yet. The color scheme matches with the current series and the banner can also be customised to fit the series.
It is less cluttered and it is designed with everyone in mind, And It's minimalistic design means that it can be used on Mobile, Tablet, etc.
Opinions?
..I like it Tom, it looks very eye-catching..I'm not sure how it is now because I don't think I've ever been on it...but I like that..
That looks good I like it! well done ;p
I really like the logo!

Can you make it a bit bigger?
Can you make it a bit bigger?
Do you want to be a bit more sarcastic?

Do you want to be a bit more sarcastic?
Would you like me to be a bit more sarcastic?
Thanks jesus, Don't even give me a constructive opinion, just moan about the size

The current home page: http://www.thisisbigbrother.com/
Well done.
A bit too busy for me and the colours are too mismatched and a bit garish like you have the colours from the forum theme and then you have them from last years BB eye added to that mustardish type colour, that's just personal opinion though.
All designs should start with a decent colour theme or pallette IMO.
I actually designed a home page a while back too, I don't think I have it on this new computer though.
Well done.

With respect. Tom, it's actually hard to see when it's so big. I never see the homepage here, so I don't really understand the clamour for a new one, but you've obviously put time and effort in, so it would actually be nice if I could see the thing without buying a 75" flat screen monitor from ASDA Walmart.

Too garish for me and the fonts/font sizes are too big/mismatched.
It's a step back from the current homepage
Cheers

Hmm. It's nice enough Tom, I like it but I don't love it. But I couldn't begin to attempt anything like this, good on you.
Maybe try and post a smaller version if you try again, then it's easier to see/read for all.
It would be nice to have an updated homepage sometime. :)
Tom sometimes it's best to screenshot the actual homepage as it is now take it into your program and work from there, it lets you work out the sizes of the columns etc easier.

I don't like the font on the What's New section, and the blocks of colours are a bit plain :/ like the layout though.
