I am not sure
What if I got a Hard On?

A hardon due to a mother breastfeeding her child Arista, really fgs? :umm2:
I don't have a problem with mothers wanting to breastfeed in public but personally don't see why she had to do it on the stairs of the swimming pool? why not just go to the dressing rooms where I would guess most mothers would go to do it

It can happen

A 'payout'.:joker:
What happened to the halcyon days of an apology and that was that.
Think I might ask for a payout for the time I was wrongly pulled aside by a security guard in tesco's and asked to empty my pockets. That caused me embarrassment and distress.

She said on SkyNewsHD
some of the payout went to charity.
But never said which amounts

Well that's vague. Is that what she actually said? If so it's Well played on her part then because the word 'some' could account for anything more than 2 pence.
And anyway even if she donated 95% to charitable causes she has still pocketed from this charade.
I hope the money she received gets put to good use and doesn't result in further cut backs to a public leisure facility or wherever the money came from.

The silly money hungry woman.
"'Women have rights to be protected from less favourable treatment and to equal access to facilities just because they want to breastfeed their children"
She had equal access to the facilities, they never stopped her using them. They asked her not to breast feed in the water. Which firstly seems like common sense for safety issues but also just why would you do that in a swimming pool?

Also the fact this went to court and won. What a waste of the courts time and waste of money. This country is becoming too pussy-whipped.

OK I'm all for breastfeeding mothers feeding in public and think those who have a problem or find it sexual in some way need to get over it tbh, however, there is NO need to do it pretty much in the swimming pool. You wouldnt give your older child or bottle fed baby a meal in a swimming pool (or on the steps)
This woman seems like an attention seeker to me, it comes across as she only did it as she knew it wold cause a problem.

meh i don't know though, i don't get why it bothers people, you don't see anything when people breastfeed, it's so discreet

But WHY on the stairs of a swimming pool?! I can see no other reason than for attention tbh
Its easy enough to walk a few more steps to the side of the pool
Honestly, I would say too that its probably not too good for the baby to have a tit thats covered in chlorine and other random chemicals in its mouth too D: Getting dried a bit, then feeding the child would have been best here IMO
Also, nowt worse than some bugger hogging the stairs when you want to get out of the pool

I didn't actually read the article, did she come out of the pool in her swimming gear and feed the baby?

Yup
On the stairs of the pool. Just no need at all tbh.
Even if she hadnt actually got in the pool yet, to get changed into swimming gear, go to the pool THEN sit on the steps and feed is ridiculous tbh. And it was the kids pool too, so no doubt a load of splashing about...I totally get the health and safety aspect of it, which is what the leisure centre said the problem was
Yes it does all sound very unhygienic

I'm all for the rights for babies to be fed by breast or bottle anywhere... but a swimming pool? If your're not moving it's really cold, and loud and as said just overall not very sanitary.
