I'm sorry but the hypocrisy of a country that can proclaim itself Christian 'legally' murdering people is beyond ridiculous!!!
I'm not religious in the slightest (i have a brain) but two wrongs do not make a right and the death sentence is clearly wrong. Living your life locked up in a prison is far more of a punishment than getting the quick way out anyway.
Killing people as a punishment makes you just as bad as the person you're killing in my eyes. We're meant to be a civilized race and stooping to the same level as a murderer is not civilized!

It is not murder and it is a way for families to get closure. Jail life is not a punishment for many crims.

It only takes a minute or so to put down a dog humanely.
Maybe they should let a vet do the executions.
In this case maybe he had time to think how that girl suffered as he suffered.
Karma.

Hanging is cheap, and also highly effective and quick when it's done properly (spinal cord breaks on the drop, death is instant)... no idea why they don't just go back to that. But of course, this is the US of A, everything is about showmanship. Lethal injection and the chair are more flashy than a hanging.
To be fair, if he's guilty I have no problem with any amount of suffering before death. I'm opposed to the death penalty, but not because I think people who have genuinely done horrific things shouldn't be put down like dogs, but rather because I have pretty much zero confidence in any "justice" system, and they probably get it wrong a lot of the time.
