They always do round here..it doesn't normally bother me as it tends to be the afternoon when they come round, or late morning.

But running downstairs in a towel because I thought Gavin had forgot his keys (he was at work last night) only to find a sullen looking bloke asking if the rubbish in my yard was ok to take away (why else would it be in my yard?! Its clearly scrap)...its not good

Slightly tempted to be petty and start chucking my scrap metal in the bin instead of leaving it for him actually

I don't mind the ones who come early on weekdays, in fact, they're welcome because they're a good wake up call. It's the ones that come early on weekends that I could rip apart with my bare hands. Selfish, cheeky and unflattering gits. :rant:

You're quite lucky Vicky,we once had two iron gates outside on the drive,taken off the hindges to have re-painted,we came to get the work done and lo and behold they had gone,the scrap man had taken them!! without asking,so in that instance I would have liked a knock to be asked,but 8 o clock in the morning? far too early.
