Big Brother is back for his seventh series of TiBB Big Brother and after a well rested break between series, he's ready to shake things up a little. For this series of Big Brother, things you thought you knew about Big Brother could change with a moments notice, and things you had gotten used to with the last series of Big Brother have gone. Let me explain a few things.

This year, Big Brother has decided to extend the usual run of 18 days, to 23 days. This means that Housemates will be pushed to their limits further, and tasks will be harder. No more easy rides. The series launches on Thursday 3rd July 2014, and will finish on Thursday 24th July 2014.

Rules will be set for Housemates to follow through their time in the House. Any failure to follow these tasks and the Housemate will be sent to 'The Slot'.
Tasks will be set on a daily, or two day basis. Every Housemate must take part in tasks unless specified so by Big Brother. This year, if a Housemate fails to complete a task - they will be put into 'The Slot'.

What is The Slot?
The Slot is Big Brother's new punishment system. Any Housemate who is moved into the slot will automatically face the public vote. If one Housemate, and one Housemate only is in the slot at the time of nominations, they will face eviction automatically. If there is more than one Housemate in the slot at the time of nominations, the Housemates will take part in a quick fire task to win freedom. Any Housemate that remains in the slot will face eviction.

However - If Housemates return to the slot more than three times, they will be ejected from the game. Big Brother isn't taking things lightly this year - and you shouldn't either. With harsher rules, tasks, frequent nominations and SNAP evictions, are you brave enough to take on a very manipulative Big Brother?
