This is either going to be really good or really bad.

I'll place £50 on 'really bad'.

It's got a full season order right off the bat, Fox must have a lot of confidence in it. It does look fairly cheesy though and I think there's a few too many Batman characters in it as well. I can understand including Bruce, Penguin and Riddler since they all have reasons to be connected to Jim Gordon but Poison Ivy is random as hell.

Bruno Heller is the show runner so I'll give it a go but dont have high hopes

The first episode on tonight, judging from its rating on IMDb (9.8 so far) it looks promising

never take IMDB ratings seriously. never. some shows that are crap to me have high ratings. usually if its not a reality show the rating will likely be 8+ with many just under. plus it just started.

im gonna check it but dont have hopes. i think it'll likely be one of those shows i watch giving it a chance but wouldnt care if it got canned.

All TV shows on IMDb rated 9 and above are usually deserved

- GOT
- Breaking Bad
- The Wire
- The Sopranos
- True Detective

To name a few, I tend to give the highly rated shows a go even if they don't really appeal to me reading the plot

And I don't think it will stay in the high 9s but its a good sign to see people rating the Pilot highly and the responses on twitter are good as well

i still dont pay no mind to IMDB ratings cause its just not a good indicator. ive seen things on there rated low and liked and vice versa. i do like to see what people think but that has no factor on whether i'll watch or not. if i have interest i'll catch it and make up my own mind. i could find great responses on twatter for things that are complete ****.:joker:

Ummm excuse me very much but what's the point in having Poison Ivy in this?

I love Uma but she was a terrible PV.

I don't understand why Ivy is in this either, her origins in the comics were unrelated to Gotham City iirc. If they wanted another female villain origin story they should have gone with Harley Quinn.

But isn't the main allure of Poison Ivy her sexy appeal?.. she's just some kid in this?

Well it's not her whole deal but yeah. Ivy's a very weird choice of character when you think about it. I think they just wanted a female villain who is recognisable to the majority of the audience and Ivy's the only one that's been in the films.

Yeah yeah; perhaps she will kill her parents by using poisonous tea leaves?

Good first episode, I think the casting for the Villains has been great from what I've seen so far

i never liked Uma Thurman though shes pretty solid actor.

im one that never read comics but seen pretty much most of the toons and movies on this superhero stuff. know a good amount of basic stuff just by looking it up but never knew much background on Poison Ivy. so i get why people were wondering shes on this but most stuff has changes to being with.

I liked the first ep just finished watching it, the cast is really good. Catwoman (or Catgirl) seems really cool, and I thought I'd dislike Gordon, but no, I find him interesting.

Will watch more for sure.
