One thing I've noticed about this eye that is rather different from previous Channel 5 eyes is it's "Flatness"

They're both very much 3-dimensional, with a noticeable depth even when just in an image like that. The only other Channel 5 era eye that has been 2d was, well, the first one:

Remember this thing that never got used? It only got proper use in the adverts leading up to the launch, probably was changed due to feedback, but look at how different the intro might've been:

A) This year's graphical style will be quite different from every other C5BB thus far

I'm being cautiously optimistic here - but wasn't the whole point in the double eye bluff to go in with the secrets and lies theme? Hopefully this is the actual eye.

I'd love to think that they realised that the fans preferred the dark mysterious eye from last year to the actual one and implemented that onto this years eye for us. Love to.

It does look like we may get another reveal where it's all lit up but if it stays in darkness then that would be great, I don't think we've had such a dark design before, they've all been bright.

Not entirely fussed on the design myself but it's a decent effort, can't wait for the house pictures now.

Looks good although I'll remain on the fence for now. Last years colour eye was released just over a week before the series aired. It's around a month until BB15 kicks off, seems a bit early for an eye release, even if it does air early June as rumoured.

Wouldn't surprise me if in 3 weeks time we see a multi-colour version with clouds in the background. I'd like C5 to prove me wrong though and have this dark version as THE eye. BBUK has always been interesting when each series' theme brings a new element to the show.

Funny you say that because I was only thinking yesterday how awesome all that build up was. That series wasn't brilliant and had a poor winner but the build up adverts were amazing. Haven't seen the eye flash myself yet but if the build up is like cbb7 then I'm very happy! :devil:
