La Roux’s relentless release schedule continues with the popping online of a snippet of a new song, ‘Silent Partner’, via the medium of Instagram.

This follows the release of a new picture earlier in the week, which hopefully you can see above.

The only bit of singing on the snippet, which is that thing below, is the word “silence”.

The follow-up to 2009′s (!) debut is called ‘Trouble In Paradise’, currently stands at nine tracks, and will be out in June.

British synth pop singer Elly Jackson, aka La Roux, has announced a followup to her eponymous 2009 debut. Trouble in Paradise is out July 7 on Polydor. Hear the track "Let Me Down Gently" above. It premiered today on Zane Lowe's BBC Radio 1 show.

For Trouble in Paradise, Jackson worked with co-producer Ian Sherwin. The last record was written and produced with Ben Langmaid.
