I am going to cry so bad at these films, I loved the books so much, and I hope they stay true to the story. The first film wasn't very good, but Catching fire was perfect and followed the book. Cant wait for part 1 on 20th nov!

Yeah, she had to pull out b/c her TV show got picked up for a season (which is odd you'd think you'd rather be in a blockbuster film than a tv show but whatever) Gwendoline Christie (Brienne) was recast as her

More than excited! Loved the books, although I hope the film isn't as bad as catching fire was, that was a bit of a disappointment ;(

I thought Catching fire was really true to the book, except they left everything about katniss being pregnant in the arena. One thing I've heard about the film being different to the book is this...

they've got two films to fill how can the need to save time :umm2:

The first films should be the entire political side of it, then the second film should start with them going to the capital (arena) so it's just action from the get go

I heard they've done it because they are already way behind on filming, they were meant to be finished ages ago. Apparently it was either shoot him or keep him alive.

Other way round, everything is more dramatic in the book and I prefer Peeniss' (katniss and peeta's ship name) relation ship in the books.

Also the ending is a little confusing for people who haven't read the book. I've had friends watch it, and they have no idea what the ending meant.

Probably because they're so behind on filming, but this is mainly because they have to digitally add Plutarch.

- district 13, meet alma blah blah blah
- peeta being tortured
- all the uprisings, 12 being bombed, etc etc

but where does it end? before or during the trip to the capitol? I imagine they have to kill off someone in this one to prevent part 2 being a massive slaughter with katniss' whole crew inc. finnick, the cameramen...

but then all that would leave, really, is prim dying and katniss killing alma.

Me thinks that... they will split it where katniss goes to hug peeta but she strangles her

Also I think they will do lots of promos this year. In the book theres loads of propos (propaganda shots) I think we will see some from the Capitol, hence the one from snow, and then some from the Rebels. Then an actual trailer.

Yeah, they've added a minister to President Snow's group that wasn't in the book. I guess he might be the Seneca Crane or Plutarch Heavensbee to Snow in this Movie

I guess that having Johanna there is different than the books but it makes sense to use her. Even if she was badmouthing the capital before the 75th Hunger Games.

I just remembered that I don't have Catching Fire on DVD yet.
