This is an overcrowded intensive factory farming dairy operation, where the cows are forced to lie down in their own feces. This means that the feces get on the cows' udders, and if not properly cleaned before milking, some of the feces and bacteria get into the milk.

Well some may NOT be aware, and even though you are not surprised or moved by the conditions these animals experience prior to consumption others might be.
It's unfair to ask anyone to 'get over' what they find personally upsetting, everyone knows food has to be processed but it is shocking the lack of regard for the animals involved.

Surely killing animals for food cannot be described as murder.
murder surely applies to the unlawful killing of another human being.

They weren't killed in the lab though, I don't think this thread was intended just to be used for pictures of random dead things.... It's an ethical debate on meat processing.

Were they kept like that when they were alive?
No, so a bizarre comparison.
How you store a corpse is entirely different to how living animals are treated.

That's right Kizzy just to show people how ALL animals are treated by us so called civilised beings.
We are dedicated to cruelty-free living through a vegetarian/vegan lifestyle according to Judeo-Christian ethics. Unconditional love and compassion is the foundation of our peaceful means of accomplishing this goal for all of God's creatures, whether human or otherwise.
God's original intent was that there would be no death, and that only plants and the fruit of the trees were to be the food of all of God's created beings (Gen. 1:29-30). Truly, what God originally created was heaven on earth. When the disciples asked Jesus how to pray, one of the first things He said to pray for was "Thy kingdom come. Thy will be done, on earth as it is in heaven." (Matt. 6:10) If we believe God's Word, and truly pray in this manner, then we should work to achieve what we pray for. And most importantly, Jesus Christ is our final sacrifice. There is no longer any need for the further shedding of blood. Thus, our diet should be plant based, and we should strive to give all peoples and animals the God given rights they deserve, and in the process protect and restore our environment.

I think if you choose to eat meat you have a responsibility to the animal to ensure it is killed as quickly and humanely as possible... And governments should have a responsibility to ensure that meat is not contaminated and messed about with so much it becomes almost inedible.

Maybe you could look beyond the religious part ,that's not the issue with me,just see what is actually done to these animals.
