I think this kind of stuff makes Farage look like he's being unfairly picked on. It gains him more support than it loses him, sadly.

Yes but the mail seem to be against him yet the readers do not agree, there seems to be a disconnect there.

I did have to laugh when an interviewer asked him about his German wife, the fact she's his secretary, and did he feel she was taking a job away from a British worker?

I really fail to grasp why he should feel uncomfortable travelling on tube or train or bus for that matter with people talking in a foreign language.
For me in this modern age, it seems a really odd thing to feel uncomfortable with.I really don't get that at all.
I also don't think he has ever really answered that point or for that matter rationally explained why he feels that way either.
For the first time, I thought Nigel Farage was handsomely beaten in an interview.James O'Brien left him feeling very uncomfortable by the end. Noticeably, Farage's own media handler Patrick O'Flynn (Daily Express) detected trouble and tried to end the broadcast.

If anyone read UKIP's manifesto then they would rather wanna vote Lib Dems over them it was that bad.
Farage like any leader though is very good at making himself look good but do remember he must agree with some of their policies to be in that party in the first place so anyone that attacks that disgraceful party is fine by me.

I would never say I was morally superior nor did I infer or say that I was but I would say I do respect other people from different cultures and Nations, and if they are together and want to talk in their own language that is fine by me.
Just as I would talk to those with me in English in any foreign Country were I visiting another country.
I see not a single problem with that at all.
When I have been to London too, I have been on the tube and never heard any english being spoken, I have actually enjoyed hearing the different languages and accents too.
Of course it is his right to say he feels uncomfortable but he is supposed to be the leader of a political party in the UK aspiring to get elected to parliament and even to Govt.
If he feels uncomfortable with this and enough to say so too, then that to me at any rate, demonstrates some intolerance of others from him and certainly doesn't endear him or his attitude on such an issue to myself.
I actually think Mockinator sums it all up pretty well really.Since a lot of intolerance from those within UKIP just about falls in line with being uncomfortable with people from other Nations and cultures speaking in their own language and living their lives their way.

Nigel Farage attacked over Romanians 'slur'.
Ed Milliband said the comments about Romanian immigrants were a "racial slur", while Nick Clegg said the comments had no place in modern Britain. David Cameron added the comments were "pretty unpleasant".

I'm all for shining a light on the UKIP party, the best way to remove radical parties is to put them in the spotlight and watch them fall to pieces under the glare of the media and the public.
Give them enough rope and parties like UKIP will always end up hanging themselves.
The Sun newspaper on Saturday also criticised Mr Farage, saying his comments were "racism, pure and simple".

I doubt there is a homeowning parent in the UK who would not feel the same. The interviewer on LBC then said whet if it were a group of german children eh eh eh?
(he was trying to make a point here as farage's children also speak german)
but the comparison was so ludicrous that it made no sense yet that tit on lbc seemed to think he had farage over a barrel.
The whole interview was a set up and had no merit

So it was not Nigel and this is what was said
"Ms Atkinson said the party had contacted Sussex Police’s chief constable and called for any protesters who “call our supporters fascists, hurl other abuse or any physical assault” to be arrested.
She said: “I have no problem with free speech but talk of fascism and Nazism to the third-biggest mainstream party in Britain is disgraceful.
“We are asking police to act under the Public Order Act. If we are having pensioners turning up and being called racist Nazi sluts, little old ladies who themselves or their parents probably fought in the war – that’s a hate crime, it’s inciting the public to violence.”
seems fair comment

Agree, This LBC presenter is clever with words, he does this sort of thing day in day out. So it is no surprise he has tried to make Mr Farage look uncomfortable.
Problem is though this guy is the equivalent of a well trained establishment poodle told to "go after" Mr Farage and make him appear contradictory or hypocritical at all costs.
He was not interested in the substance of the conversation he was having with Mr Farage, intent only on tripping him up and trying to make him look small. no wonder Mr Farage's agent was having a fit trying to extract Mr Farage from this well planned ambush.
Wow......the Political elite will stop at nothing to bring down Mr Farage and UKIP.

Expect more of the same as there is a battle on at the moment for the hearts and minds of the discerning voting public.
If you cannot destroy UKIP's arguments then you go after the Party leaders and try and destroy them.
The political elites (TPTB) are seriously troubled by UKIP and the democratic challenge it represents. They are taking UKIP seriously and realise they have a problem, something that could rock their comfortable status quo.
As a result they will stop at nothing to discredit them by fair means or foul.
