1. Luisa Zissman’s got a new job
Ex-housemate Luisa Zissman is going to be a regular feature on Bit On The Side and Bit On The Psych AND she’s going to be a roving reporter.
She’s pretty confident she’s going to be amazing and, if we’re being totally honest with ourselves, we think she’ll be pretty awesome too.
2. Big Brother is on a Power Trip
Last year it was Secrets And Lies and this time it’s Power Trip.
3. House from hell?
Producers have done away with the luxury pad that was home to Jim Davidson, Dappy and Sam Faiers earlier in the year and the next bunch of housemates will be living in what sounds like a modern-day nightmare. Think stark open spaces and sleek, clean lines.
4. It’s all sounding mega complicated
Technology is apparently at the heart of this year’s house. Big Bro’s minions will be bedding down in ‘a house that looks as though it has been transported from the future’.
5. It’s going to get messy
Everyone is going to be striving for power and Big Brother says housemates are going to have to be ruthless to keep their head above the parapet. Whoever has ‘the power’ will be able to influence, twist and control events in the house like never before, apparently. But don’t worry folks because viewers will be able to get in on the power action too. Promise.
6. The suspense is already too much
We know for a fact it’s all kicking off next month but the exact start date is still top secret. Watch this space!
maybe the fact that it is 10 years since BB5 - evil BB might have a reflection on the theme/mentality of BB
Advanced listings for Channel 5 give space on June 5th for Big Brother’s launch
Earlier, Channel 5 announced details of the brand new theme for Big Brother 15, Power Trip. They have since released the advanced listings for Channel 5 for the week of Saturday 31st May to Friday 6th June 2014.
There is space within the schedules to place Big Brother’s Live Launch show, with Thursday 5th being most likely. Currently the schedule stands as this:
Thursday 5th June :
8pm: TBA
9pm: TBA
10pm: TBA
11pm: TBA
This could easily give space for a two hour launch show at 9pm, until 11pm and then Big Brother’s Bit on the Side. Or, if they are following last year and having a double launch, a 90 minute launch show, Bit on the Side and then Live from the House.
Friday also has empty slots, with the usual Big Brother repeat slot of 12:15pm on Channel 5 being free. The schedule on Friday evening is also free, and makes space for a highlights show and Big Brother’s Bit on the Side again.
Friday 6th June:
9pm: TBA
10pm: TBA
10:30pm: TBA
11:15pm: TBA
This schedule at the moment could make way for a highlights show, or a second live launch show. As of yet, this is purely speculation and Channel 5 are yet to confirm the official launch date, and the announcement is expected later on.
