..so he obviously felt that the puppy shouldn't have been left but the windows were all open and the owner said that he had only left it for a few minutes...'justifiable theft' or not..?...

Oh ,that's a difficult one,the owner doesn't seem to be the neglectful type and seems to care for the dog,but the thief also seems to have the dogs welfare in mind,I really don't know, hmmm, maybe give it back to the owner,I don't think he would do that again.

Why? Why must it have this? People who watch the article will know it is the USA. It's so annoying when you do that.

Yeah, seriously I don't see anything wrong with leaving a dog in a car as long is it's not for hours on end and you have the window open for them

..no it really doesn't Arista..although it is an actual story, it's been posted as more of a 'dilemma' type thing and it would be the same regardless of where it was....the place/country isn't the focus of this thread...

I always feel bad seeing dogs stuck in warm cars with their tongues out so if someone saw a dog that looked like it'd been stuck in a car for hours in warm temperatures and really needed air/water then i could probably see why someone might do that, it's not right to take the dog completely and run off with it though. This dog obviously didn't look in a bad way if it was asleep & had air and water so whoever took it is a bit of a tit.

Yeah, if that person was that concerned about the dogs welfare he should have called animal welfare not taken the dog
